Men’s Restoration Ranch

The Men’s Ranch facility has been operational since 2013, providing Christian Discipleship Training for men of all ages who struggle with addiction and dysfunctional lifestyles.

Program Overview

Phase 1
2 Months

For the first sixty days, the program participant will be committed to….

  • Knowing Jesus.
  • Committed to a daily structured schedule starting at 5:30 am.
  • Participate in morning, mid-day and evening devotionals.
  • Participate in daily community service and ranch work with animals.
  • Participate in Bible study, Addiction meetings, Prayer time, or community events every evening.
  • Learn to serve others through servanthood.
  • Be 100% accountable at all times.
  • Accomplish a set of goals every day starting in the morning by choosing a goal from morning devotionals.
  • Biblical discipleship.
  • Receiving Individual Guidance.
  • Committed to Church community and attendance.
Phase 2
 6 Months

The Phase Two of our residential treatment program lasts for six months and offers two options.

2 Phase Sober living Discipleship

Some participants return to work and live in a phase 2 house, which requires a monthly donation, while still committed to attending evening church sessions with those in the first phase. This is similar to (Sober living) but with discipleship. There is still oversight and random drug testing in these homes.

2 Phase Servant leadership

Residents are selected to dedicate six months to serving the Lord and, through training, raised in leadership roles.  This choice requires significant commitment and bears much fruit.

Those who have served in the ministry often continue to do so at other U-Turn for Christ facilities or on different church staffs across the United States and worldwide.

Beyond 2 Phase

The initial six-month period doesn’t need to end. Some individuals who go back to work decide to stay for a year or even longer to experience increased accountability and fellowship in their lives. This transitional period has enabled many men to keep seeking Jesus and connecting with other believers while also making plans for housing and establishing their transition to independent living.

Everyone is always subject to random drug testing.

Other Attributes of the program include:

“How to Study The Bible” and “How to Share the Gospel.”

Establishing a bank account.

Establishing a driver’s license.

Job training.

Life skills include Money management, Time management, Communication, Writing, and Teamwork. They also include leading at work and leading at home.

We firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the solution to all of life’s problems, particularly the issue of sinful bondage to drugs, alcohol, and other life-dominating sins or ways of man.  We have seen great success in our ministry for over 30 years, and by God’s Grace, many more stories of restoration will come.
