**Low-Cost, Affordable Addiction Recovery Program**
A recently published study examined the daily costs of 37 different drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities. The study found that the average price per day for a 28 to 30-day stay is $667. This average has increased by nearly 5.5% since 2010 and continues to rise each year. The cost for alcohol rehab can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand per day, depending on the facility type. For example, a traditional state-level rehab facility, such as Hazelden, averages $1,000 per day, totaling $28,000 for a complete cycle. Luxury rehabs, especially those located in Malibu, California, can cost anywhere from $3,000 to $6,000 per day, amounting to $100,000 for a 28-day cycle. In contrast, U-Turn For ChristNM charges only $1,000 for two months, just over $16 per day.
**Our Bible-Based Program**
Typical residential programs, including many Christian options, often focus primarily on daily meetings related to or entirely based on the 12-step AA model, with food expenses typically incurred by participants and minimal, if any, Bible study. This is why we refer to U-Turn For Christ as a “Ministry of Restoration.” We believe that the Biblical approach to restoration is the true path to overcoming addiction and achieving a renewed life dedicated to the Lord. Our ministry encourages both men and women to serve others in the community, helping them find restoration within themselves. This service experience not only blesses those they serve, but it also fosters a mindset of humility in those seeking restoration, shifting their perspective from entitlement to servitude. As a result, individuals who once posed a threat to themselves, their families, and society often become a blessing to those around them.
**Nightly Church Services**
Many faith-based programs offer church services to enrollees once a week on Sundays and sometimes a mid-week Bible study. In contrast, we are blessed to have different teachers leading our church services every night. Pastors travel from all over California to speak and pray with the men and women who have committed to letting Jesus transform their lives. This nightly teaching is vital for our enrollees’ personal growth and development as they learn to turn away from negative behaviors and embrace their commitment to the Lord in whatever form that may take.
At U-Turn For Christ, our primary goal is restoration. Through this process, everything else in life can become new. When individuals in our ministry submit themselves to the Lord, they often lose the desire to numb their pain with drugs or alcohol. They cease engaging in dark behaviors such as isolation and secret-keeping and begin living as if others matter. Those who discover and cling to their freedom in Jesus Christ are forever transformed, which is why the U-Turn model of restoration has been so effective for the past 25 years. After completing Phases One and Two, graduates of our ministry are well-prepared with the tools necessary to maintain a deep relationship with Jesus Christ if they choose to do so. Most do, and not only do their lives improve, but the lives of their families and loved ones also get better.
